Professional Laser Engraving

What is Professional Laser Engraving?

Professional laser engraving is a manufacturing process that utilizes a high-powered laser to etch designs onto various materials. A concentrated laser beam, controlled by computer software, precisely removes the surface layer of the material to create a design. The process allows for extremely detailed and accurate designs, far surpassing traditional engraving methods.

At Seaboard Traders our in-house, high-powered engraving lasers can be used on a range of materials, including Metal, Plastic, Glass, Wood, Acrylic, Leather, and Leatherette.

Laser engraving etches designs directly into the material, making it impossible for your design to fade, peel, or wear away.

How does laser engraving work?

First, your design is translated into a format compatible with computer-controlled laser engraving machinery, ensuring precision and fidelity to the original concept.

Next, the appropriate material for engraving is chosen based on the design requirements and your preference, with our in-house experts helping you consider factors like durability, appearance, and cost.

The laser engraving machine is then set up, with our professional technicians making adjustments for power, speed, and focus to suit the specific material and design complexity. After a test run or two to fine tune settings, the engraving production run begins.

After engraving, the product undergoes a thorough quality inspection to ensure the engraving meets your desired standards and design specifications. Lastly, the engraved item is then cleaned to remove any residues or debris, and additional finishing touches are applied if necessary.
